Impending Doom

Whoever said humans can only see tens of miles in front of them grew up in the south. My favorite thing about Wyoming is when you're in the east plains you can see every mountain south and west of you hundreds of miles away.

Daine and I were coming home from Sheridan and heard there was a bit of rain in Laramie. Then the NWS emergency alert over the radio said it's actually a bad storm. Then we saw Laramie Peak and braced for impact. Laramie flooded.

Fun fact: This is Laramie Peak, which is not in Laramie County, or near Laramie, or near Fort Laramie, and none of those points are in the same towns/counties. Laramie the town isn’t even close to the other Laramies. This is Laramie Peak gathering a storm that would swing south and absolutely flood Laramie. We got decimated.
